At a hundred and ten dollars this is the cheapest useful thing Aquasure sells, and it is the unit that appears third in the company's own best-seller ranking. Combining sediment, carbon and copper-zinc into one cartridge saves a housing and a connection over a two-stage arrangement, and the 12 GPM rating is high enough that most homes will not notice it in line. The compromise is service life: six months or 50,000 gallons is short, the cartridge is a proprietary 9.8 inch format that will not accept a standard 10 by 4.5 inch replacement, and owners report noticeable pressure loss well before the interval is up on dirty water. Aquasure explicitly does not recommend it for well water, where it clogs quickly, and its own support states the filter reduces PFAS by around 40 percent at best. Warranty drops to one year on the cartridge systems against five on the tanks. As a pre-filter protecting a softener downstream it is well judged; as a household's only filtration it is not enough.

The Aquasure Fortitude V2 Triple Purpose is a single-cartridge whole-house pre-filter combining a copper-zinc infused sediment outer layer with a carbon block core. Aquasure rates it at 50,000 gallons or six months and a maximum 12 GPM, with an effective final rating of 5 microns behind a 25 micron outer layer. It ships with a wall bracket, pressure release valve and a choice of 3/4 inch or 1 inch quick-connect fittings, and the replacement cartridge is AF-SCZ-25HFS.
