Serial 1 makes premium pedal-assist e-bikes. The brand started in 2018 as a small project inside Harley-Davidson and became an independent company in 2020. Its name refers to the oldest known Harley-Davidson motorcycle, nicknamed Serial Number One.

The line is built around Brose mid-drive motors with 90 Nm of torque, Gates carbon belt drives and integrated batteries that lift out for charging.

Serial 1 sells online at serial1.com and through a small group of authorized dealers. Its US warranty covers the battery and components for two years.
