Owner posts on the Guardian 6000 V1, which shares the V2's battery, inverter and outlets, sit in r/OUPES_info and r/Generator; no V2 owner report beyond a purchase question was found.
One suburban owner called the V1 well built and doing everything it claims, and another runs it through a Generlink meter collar for outages.
Owners in a thread on long-term reliability called the app poor and missing a dark-start feature while calling the hardware reliable.
FOSSiBOTF7200
In r/Portable_PowerStation a European owner's F7200 showed its inverter firmware as v0.0 in the BrightEMS app, with no logs or safety alerts, and FOSSiBOT support had not answered WhatsApp messages or emails for weeks (March 2026).
In r/SolarDIY an owner said the F7200 dies after a while and is no longer detected in BrightEMS (December 2025).

What they say
OUPESGuardian 6000 V2
PCMag rated the Guardian 6000 V2 4.0 of 5 from testing done on the V1, measured 3,850 to 3,970 Wh usable on AC (84 to 86 percent), and faulted a 70 W-plus standby draw, no 240 V output during AC charging and bulky expansion cables (August 2026).
TheSolarLab, which earns affiliate commission, tested the V1, charged it in 3 hours 12 minutes on 120 V and about 1.5 hours on 240 V, measured about 85 percent inverter efficiency and a 75 W idle draw, and found it kept drawing about 1,000 W for 30 minutes after showing 100 percent.
FOSSiBOTF7200
Guru3D, which tested a 230 V European unit and posts FOSSiBOT discount codes for the EU and US stores, found the build solid, the wheels and telescopic handle easy to move and the BrightEMS app reliable for monitoring, but noted no IP rating, no certified transfer equipment for home integration, and value hard to justify for permanent home storage at about €2,699; it published no measured capacity or charge time, and its spec table lists 3,600 W continuous and 1,600 W of solar, figures FOSSiBOT's pages do not give (July 2026).

What they say
OUPESGuardian 6000 V2
The Old Jarhead, which received the V2 from OUPES and earns commission through an affiliate link and discount code, tested it beside the V1 and took about 2,400 W from two arrays at once, about 800 W at 72 V and 1,600 W at 144 V, while running 2,600 W of heaters on pass-through (September 2026, about 7,800 views).
The channel had criticised the V1's 15 A solar limit in March and noted that the V2 drops the V1's 12/24 V XT90 output.
FOSSiBOTF7200
ReeWray Outdoors, which passes on a FOSSiBOT discount code and links to the Amazon US listing, ran the F7200 through its own manual transfer switch to a room and barn circuits, started a 12-inch miter saw without trouble, and said it would be tempted to remove the outlet covers (January 2026, about 26,000 views).
