    What they say

    Dabbsson DBS3500

    • In r/SolarDIY a DBS3500 owner found it too heavy to be very portable, had some issues that support resolved helpfully after several messages, and said it runs some appliances for a couple of hours, longer with a solar panel (about 2024).

    ALLPOWERS R4000

    • No owner thread in an independent subreddit names the R4000, so this reads the brand.
    • In r/SolarDIY an R2500 owner said ALLPOWERS told him the B3000 expansion battery connects only to the R3500 in the US (2024); in r/GoRVing an owner's R1500 clicked above 30 W of AC load and its app would not connect over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and a commenter said no one at ALLPOWERS answered email or phone (2024).

The Dabbsson DBS3500 reading covers its product line.

    What they say

    Dabbsson DBS3500

    • No written test of the DBS3500 with measurements was found, so this reads the DBS2300, its closest Dabbsson sibling.
    • CNET, which links to dabbsson.com through affiliate links and whose line "I love that it's a modular format" Dabbsson quotes on its home page, measured 2,007 Wh delivered from the plain DBS2300, 86 percent of rated, and a full wall charge in about 122 minutes (best-list updated March 2026).
    • Trusted Reviews, which Dabbsson also quotes on its home page, called the DBS2300 the best expandable station it had tested and noted its 15 ms switchover was too slow for critical computers (July 2023).
    • The Gadgeteer found the inverter inefficient on loads under 400 W, drawing 870 Wh from a full charge to run a 30 to 100 W load through a UPS, while it charged two other stations and ran 3,000 W of heaters in boost mode (October 2023).

    ALLPOWERS R4000

    • Vantour, a French van-life site that passes on an ALLPOWERS discount code and links to ALLPOWERS' store, put a full wall charge at about 4 hours, an EV charging-station charge at about 2 hours and 400 W solar at about 8 hours, found the fans quiet under heavy load, and noted app connection problems some owners report and no car charging cable in the box (July 2024).

    • ReeWray Outdoors, which links to Amazon as an associate and passes on a Dabbsson coupon code, tested its AC capacity, expansion, solar charging, harmonic distortion, UPS mode and no-load drain and called it the best budget high-capacity expandable station it had tested (March 2024, about 22,700 views).
    • Phandroid, in a video it says Dabbsson sponsored, found its capacity enough for a refrigerator, lights and devices in an outage (March 2024, about 11,700 views).
    • Red Beard's Garage welded from it (date not read).

    ALLPOWERS R4000

    • Eric Hernandez, which passes on an ALLPOWERS promo code and earns commission on linked products, drained the R4000 V3 until the inverter shut off with 5 percent still showing and load-tested it toward its 3,600 W rating (February 2025, about 31,200 views).
    • A March 2023 review titled "DON'T BUY THE ALLPOWERS R4000 Power Station Without Watching This First!", on a unit and 400 W panel ALLPOWERS sent with a discount link, backfed the house's 120 V circuits through a transfer switch, charged at about 1,540 W from the wall with 270 W of solar, and ran a 1,200 W heater for 2 hours 10 minutes before shutoff at 5 percent.
    • Chef Prepper, which carries a 12 percent ALLPOWERS code, said the 2,000 W fast charge needs a 220 to 240 V circuit (March 2025).
